How to convert EPUB to PDF
- Choose your EPUB, or drag it onto the box above. MOBI, AZW3, CBZ and FB2 work too.
- Pick a page size and what to include, then click Create PDF.
- Check the preview and click Save as PDF. In your browser's print window, choose Save as PDF as the destination.
Comics and other books with fixed pages skip the print window: their PDF downloads right away, one image per page.
Why it uses your browser's “Save as PDF”
Your browser is very good at laying out text: it uses the book's own fonts and styles, breaks lines and pages properly, and keeps the text selectable and searchable in the PDF. Letting it do the final step gives a better PDF than pasting screenshots of pages, and it keeps your book on your device.
Chrome and Edge also add page numbers and keep the table of contents links clickable in the PDF.
Your book stays on your device
Everything happens in your browser. The ebook is opened and laid out on your own computer or phone, and nothing is uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert MOBI or AZW3 to PDF?
Yes, as long as the file has no DRM. Choose it the same way as an EPUB. To keep it as an ebook instead, use the MOBI to EPUB converter.
Will the PDF look like the ebook?
It keeps the book's text, headings, images and styles. Since a PDF has fixed pages, the text is laid out for the page size you choose, so line and page breaks differ from your e-reader.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On Android, choose Save as PDF in the print screen. On iPhone and iPad, the print screen offers a share button where you can save the PDF to Files.
Can I convert books with DRM?
No. Books bought in most stores are DRM-protected and only open in the store's own app. DRM-free books work fine.
What about the other way around?
Use the PDF to EPUB converter. And to simply read an EPUB without converting it, open it in the online EPUB reader.
